Worm Info'Worms' as we know them are in fact Endoparasites. This means that they are organisms living inside our cats and dogs, relying on them for nutrition. The worms seen in our pets are often found in either the intestines or lungs. Cat and Dog worms largely break down into two groups, Nematodes and Tapeworms. It is often the case that nematodes are referred to as 'Roundworms' whereas in fact only the Ascarids are true roundworms.
