T. multiceps, T. hydatigena and T. ovis - ingestion of raw meat and offal of sheep, cattle and/or pigs
T. pisiformis and T. serialis - ingestion of rabbits
T. taeniaeformis - ingestion of rodents
Signs
Usually no clinical signs. Occasionally small white dots in faeces can be observed.
Warnings
Rarely, Man has been reported to act as intermediate host to T. multiceps
